Designed, Manufactured, Installed, and Serviced Under One Roof
We're the Full Partner, Not Just a Piece of It
We design every project. We manufacture most of them ourselves in our South Holland facility, fabricating aluminum panels, cutting and sewing fabric panels, and applying custom graphics and finishing details. For premium retractable systems and specialty products from trusted industry partners, we handle the design consultation, ordering, and receipt at our facility. We install every project with our own team. And we’re still there years later when something needs cleaning, motor service, or seasonal storage.
Every piece of work we put our name on is custom-built and sourced specifically for the project, and the team that produces or specifies it is the team that meets you, installs it, and services it long after install day.
Our Custom-Tailored Process
Design and Consultation
Every project starts with a free consultation at your home or business. We take measurements, talk through your goals, and bring sample books so you can see and feel the styles, fabrics, colors, and trim options before deciding.
Manufacturing and Preparation
For products we manufacture, the next stop is our shop: aluminum fabricated to size, fabric panels cut and sewn by our team, and custom graphics applied in-house. Every awning is built for the property it’s going on. For premium systems sourced from trusted partners, we order to your specs and receive and prep the shipment for install.
Quality Control
Before any project leaves our facility, every seam, weld, and finish detail is inspected. If something isn’t right, it doesn’t leave our doors.
Installation
Our own crews handle every install, never subcontractors. Whether built in our shop or sourced from a partner, our team knows exactly how it should fit, anchor, and operate.
Service and Maintenance
We service what we install: cleaning, repair, motor service, and seasonal storage, long after install day. Worn fabric replacement is handled as service work; color changes and finish refreshes are quoted as product updates. Many customers have returned year after year for decades for the same care on the same awnings.
Our Standards and Warranties
We back our work the way a craftsman should:
- 12-month standard warranty on installation
- Custom QC process on every awning we manufacture, before it ever leaves our facility
- Manufacturer warranties from our material suppliers and industry partners, generally ranging from 5 to 10 years on fabrics, components, and retractable systems
- Ongoing service relationships for cleaning, repair, and seasonal storage to extend the life of every awning we install
Every project that leaves our facility carries pride of ownership. We stand behind it because we know exactly what went into it.
How We Approach Every Project
Our approach is straightforward: find out exactly what the customer wants, and make sure they get it.
Every project at Chesterfield is custom. Every project is designed for the specific property, the specific use, and the specific person or business that ordered it. We don’t push standard products on customers who need something else. We don’t sell what we wouldn’t put on our own homes.
If you can describe it, we can usually build it or specify it from a trusted partner. And if it’s something we haven’t worked on before, we’ll figure out how to get it right.
Trusted Across Chicagoland Since 1958
From the homeowners who’ve counted on us for generations to the businesses whose storefronts we’ve helped build, our customers keep coming back.
The Chesterfield Maintenance Program
The Maintenance Program bundles cleaning, seasonal storage, priority repair scheduling, and inspections into one relationship. For homeowners protecting an investment and property managers coordinating across sites, it’s the smart way to keep every awning sharp without the coordination burden.
